Job Description
CULTURE: Melissa Memorial Hospital invites applicants for interested Physical Therapists to join our Rehab team. We offer highly competitive wages direct 1:1 patient care and flexible scheduling. Therapists have the opportunity of providing care to a diverse caseload and working with all ages. Opportunities exist for a caseload to be tailored to the applicants experience and desires. Caseload consists of approximately 90% outpatient care and 10% inpatient care Supportive atmosphere Supportive learning environment Patient centered care with one-on-one treatment sessions MMH promotes a work/life balance with shift and schedule options Enjoy meal options at a low cost for employees ROLE REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for the evaluation planning administration and supervision of Physical Therapy accordance with physician referral state and national organizational standards regulatory agencies and established departmental policies and procedures. This position demonstrates the clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment appropriate to the age of the patients served. Demonstrating compassionate care and caring behavior is fundamental to each patient. This position requires the ability to be or become proficient with computer skills. Software applications are commonly used with patient care. WAYS YOULL CONTRIBUTE: Supportive team player. Have open communication. Work on improving needs for patients. Daily note taking on patient files. Make it a fun environment. Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM: Must have graduated from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy (or equivalent). Must have a current Physical Therapy license within the state of practice (Colorado). BLS Certificate PREFERRED: Understanding of Rural Healthcare
