Job Description
Title: Cisco Network Design Architect
Location: Baltimore MD- hybrid must be local
Length: Long term
Mode of Interview: Video
NOTES:
Its mostly a Cisco design role as they are always buying and redoing hospitals or clinics and remodeling.
This is not a hands-on keyboard role they want an onsite Driven Engineer who can design networks all day long.
- Scoping all aspects of new projects from a network aspect including but not limited to
- Rack space
- Rack power requirements
- Switch/Router specs
- POE Requirements
- Port speeds/uplink optics
- Design aspects for Routing (BGP/EIGRP)
- Design aspects for QoS and Multicast
- Design aspects for campus VXLAN Deployments
- Experience with the following Required:
- Cisco Networking (route/switch/wireless) CCNP or higher caliber
- Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Experience with the following Preferred
- Networks in a Healthcare Setting
- F5 Load Balancers
- Cisco ISE
- Infoblox
