Job Description
Our client is a leader in high-pressure pump technology for the machinery industry.
Responsibilities
- Designing and planning shop floor layouts to optimize performance.
- Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure they meet health safety and quality standards.
- Creating jigs and fixtures to support operations including mechanical components electrical control and programming.
- Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
- Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) work instructions checklists and other supporting documents including 2D/3D drawings and electrical schematics.
- Training operators to standardize processes.
- Monitoring process performance during production and proposing improvements for efficiency including 5S waste reduction cost management quality enhancement and safety.
- Ensuring compliance with product certifications and compiling Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
- Managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Routings in the ERP system to ensure data accuracy.
- Overseeing Engineering Changes (ECNs) and Configuration Management.
- Providing daily technical support for production issues such as operational software and programming problems.
- Investigating customer claims and implementing corrective and preventive actions as part of continuous improvement efforts.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelors degree in Engineering Mechatronics Electrical Mechanical or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Process Engineer Technical Services Engineer New Product Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Experience with programming languages and systems such as PLC HMI and C.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Positive attitude with a focus on quality and safety.
