We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Senior Data Scientist to own and evolve two of our most strategic AI-driven systems.
This role will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our recommendation engines and conversational AI systems with a strong focus on personalization automation and Generative AI and Predictive AI integration.
Recommender System Ownership:
- Maintain and enhance enterprise recommender including clustering models market basket models price sensitivity and product forecast models.
- Maintain Contract Renewal Recommendation engine with updated rule-based logic and incorporating churn model scores to suggest fixed product renewals.
- Monitor model performance retrain/refresh pipelines and ensure business alignment with upsell/cross-sell strategies.
Conversational AI & GenAI Integration:
- Extend the capabilities of the AI chat platform by integrating state of the art GenAI modules for contextual understanding and personalized responses.
- Enable real-time transactions via API orchestration and support omnichannel deployment across customer portals and WhatsApp.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to establish required system integrations to support AI context and Agentic actions.
Data Engineering & Feature Development:
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Spark on Azure Databricks and orchestrate workflows via Databricks Workflows.
- Pipe processed features into PostgreSQL databases using SQLAlchemy for seamless backend integration.
- Maintain Vector Knowledge stores on Postgres or Azure AI Search using organizational knowledge portals as the source of truth. Ensure data consistency and reusability across modules.
Operational Excellence:
- Define and track KPIs such as recommendation accuracy chatbot resolution rate and conversion uplift.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to validate new features and integrations.
- Ensure compliance with Responsible AI practices including human-in-the-loop validation and explainability
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product managers digital marketing sales and engineering teams to align AI solutions with business goals.
- Translate business requirements into data science solutions and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills for Success:
