Description

Join our dynamic Philippines Operations team as a Cash Equities Operations Analyst where you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless settlement of Cash Equities products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment contributing to the success of our operations and enhancing your expertise in risk management and settlement processes.

Job Summary: As a Cash Equities Operations Analyst within the Philippines Operations team you will be responsible for ensuring the timely settlement of Cash Equities products. You will monitor risk exposure and contribute to the overall success of the Philippines CE Operations team ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Job responsibilities:

  • Confirm and settle Cash Equities trades in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Sales and counterparties to resolve discrepancies.
  • Reconcile daily cash movements
  • Perform daily reconciliation and investigations of Nostro and Wash Breaks.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and work closely with other line of business.
  • Perform sanction screening and regulatory reporting
  • Stay abreast of Regulatory changes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify areas for enhancement drive automation and process efficiencies.
  • Perform regular and annual review to update and revise SOPs
  • Work closely with trading desks risk management finance and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Ability to identify opportunities and promptly initiate action and escalate potential risks to minimize loss.
  • Willingness to take ownership and responsibility to accomplish goals.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of quality deliverable.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and openly with internal business partners.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage change.
  • Adaptability in maintaining standards and adjusting effectively to work within new work structures processes or requirements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Knowledge and deep understanding of the local Regulations is an advantage.
