Job Description
- Bachelors degree with an IT-related emphasis.
- Minimum 8 years experience supporting and managing virtual infrastructure in a medium to large environment.
- Highly proficient in PowerShell script-writing for the purpose of automating and/or making processes more efficient.
- Project management experience.
- Strong aptitude for analysis and diagnosis of complex technical issues.
- Familiar with ITIL processes; practiced in a professional environment.
- Very good understanding of networking concepts and principles.
- Very good understanding of storage concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Must be self-motivated but also able to take direction and complete projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must be comfortable working as a member of a small team within a large IT department.
- Minimum 8 years experience supporting and managing Windows Server systems in a medium to large environment.
- Data center experience.
- Minimum 4 years experience deploying security patches to multiple systems synchronously.
- Experience managing and maintaining server hardware.
- Experience designing building and deploying server images and templates.
- Systems monitoring using an enterprise solution in a large environment.
- Experience managing Windows Server Failover Clusters.
- Experience managing AD objects and Group Policies.
