What Well Bring:
We are looking for a Junior Accountant with basic accounting knowledge and a keen interest in taxation. The ideal candidate will assist in daily accounting operations tax filings and compliance tasks while learning and growing in a dynamic finance environment. This role is ideal for entry-level professionals seeking to build a strong foundation in both general accounting and tax processes.What Youll Bring:
- Maintain proper documentation for tax and audit requirements.
- Monitor compliance with local tax regulations and filing deadlines.
- Assist in preparing supporting documents for tax audits or assessments.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents when necessary.
- Assist in recording financial transactions in the accounting system under the accounts payable module.
- Support in month-end and year-end tasks.
- Help in the computation filing and payment of taxes (e.g. VAT withholding tax income tax).
- Reconcile accounts and assist in bank and intercompany reconciliations.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the finance manager.
Impact Youll Make:
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy or related field (CPA board passer is required).
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and Philippine tax regulations (e.g. BIR forms and deadlines).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Oracle Netsuite) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
