Job Overview
Your Role and The Team
INGs Payment and Settlement Services (PSS) aims to further mature develop and expand INGs state of the art payments platforms and settlements services. The PSS focusses on delivering payments and settlement services meeting the expectations of INGs business lines and beyond whilst ensuring the basics: safe secure compliant and reliable. The PSS is an independent unit within INGs CTO domain reporting directly into INGs Chief Technology Officer.
The PSS is responsible for providing standardized payments and settlements services to multiple ING business lines (WB Retail and others). There is a clear ambition to also look for external commercialization of our payment platforms.
The PSS changes the organization towards a true Services-based organization and to deliver on ambitious promises we have organized ourselves into a strong strategic and commercially focused organization around our eight services where our squads working on those products are enabled by clear prioritization accountability and capabilities. And right there the Squad Master Customer Journey Expert comes in.
The Squad Master is a new role within ING replacing the Product Owner Role. PSS works according to Agile principles in self-organizing teams. Together with other CJEs you have an end-to-end responsibility for the development and you have the main responsibility for the delivery and change. You will work with two TECH squads. As our Squad Master youll determine what is being worked on within a squad (in consultation with your Product Lead) responsible for meeting the Services KPIs and decide what the key priorities are.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience as an product owner or a similar role.
Have experience in highly regulated environments (e.g. financial institutions)
Excellent communication skills capable of conveying complex technical topics to various audiences.
Ability to develop strong and collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders.
Knowledge of and experience with methodologies) service management processes and an agile work environment.
