Ventia has an exciting opportunity for a capable team lead or foreperson to join their Roading Maintenance team looking after the Transmission Gully network.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor youll be responsible for the hands-on and on-site supervision of a small and dedicated crew ensuring work is safely completed within the required timeframe exceeds client expectations is within budget and quality requirements. The Foreperson will act as the technical first line support for day-to-day issues that arise out on site.
About you
NZ Class 2 Drivers Licence minimum
Qualification in Traffic Management (Preferred)
5 years experience in an infrastructure industry (e.g. road maintenance pavement kerbing or drainage)
Strong ability to interpret and analyse roading and technical plans
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and support team performance
Committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment with a genuine passion for workplace safety
