About the team

As part of our continued growth Kinaxis is expanding its Japan presence and market share. The role of Account Executive will be responsible for winning new business and revenue through our Reseller partners in the Japan region and working closely with Kinaxis senior management to contribute to the overall growth strategy of return Kinaxis can offer an excellent environment to work where you will be a valued person and given all the associated benefits of an organization geared for growth and success.

What you will do

  • Selling Renewals and Upsells to our current account base using proven Sales Methodology or MEDDPICC/MEDDIC
  • Understanding the prospects and customers critical business issues and strategic initiatives and linking Kinaxis solutions to ensure achievement in these key areas.
  • Selling Professional Services with Client partner to our current account base to adopt our solutions.
  • Managing the execution of Kinaxis sales process and leveraging appropriate Kinaxis resources to renew/upsell license subscription bookings.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts based upon realistic close timelines.
  • Communicating product improvements and recommendations that originate in the field
  • Utilizing Kinaxis sales force automation tool to track all opportunities and prospect/customer related information.

What we are looking for

  • Ten to fifteen years experience in Account Management/selling strategic enterprise level mission critical solutions (SCM ERP BI)
  • Client focused Account Management/Customer Success background.
  • Demonstrated track record of working with large complex accounts.
  • Experience working in different JAPAN markets and geographies
  • Experience working within a Global based operational companies adefinite asset.
  • Experience Ability to penetrate and sell to executive-level decision makers.
  • Ability to sell to multiple constituencies within an organization (Manufacturing Operations Demand Management Finance IT)
  • Consultative value-proposition/business case-driven sales methodology experience.
  • Must be an articulate persuasive and passionate communicator
  • Embrace a dynamic and innovative work environment that fosters creativity and a youthful spirit regardless of organizational maturity
  • Ability to work and act independently and be pro-active
  • Solid language skills with native or very fluent skills in Japanese & English(business level will be nice to have) and ideally very fluent with at least one further language
