Senior Frontend Engineer (React Typescript)

Your Role and Responsibilities
Develop reporting features in our cloud-based accounting solution for mid-sized enterprises using and TypeScript.
Build the frontend for customizable reporting tools.
Write scalable maintainable testable and efficient code.
Provide technical leadership to the team.
Participate in cross-functional discussions regarding product requirements and customer feedback.
Define system requirements including both functional and non-functional aspects.
Work closely with Engineering Managers Product Managers Designers and other stakeholders.
Deploy software to production environments.
Monitor production systems and resolve issues when they arise.
Share expertise with team members and fellow engineers.
Contribute to process improvements communication strategies and team collaboration.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
7 years of experience in software development.
Proven experience in leading and TypeScript product development.
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Background in system architecture design.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Problem-solver with a results-driven mindset.
Ability to commute to the Tokyo office at least two days per week.
Japanese: Not required but nice to have
English: Fluent in both written and verbal
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in developing and operating financial domain services (e.g. accounting reporting).
Familiarity with .
Experience working with Go or other backend technologies.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Experience using AWS or other cloud platforms.
Expertise in system design and infrastructure development.
A successful track record of delivering high-quality production-ready software.
Interest in learning the Japanese language.
