POSITION DESCRIPTION
Working within a multicultural company within the reservations team to co-ordinate accommodation enquiries and process these booking requests as well as other travel requirements such as transport lift passes ski rentals and lessons. Based in Grand Hirafu Resort of the picturesque Niseko region this position offers a rewarding and active lifestyle.
MAIN TASKS:
- Working within and supporting the reservations team
- Liaising/Supporting the SkiJapan Travel Agent Offices
- Receive and action accommodation requests
- Assigning SkiJapan accommodations
- Checking external supplier availability
- Sending booking requests
- Amending and cancelling bookings as required

KEY DUTIES:
- Following administration procedures for all bookings
- Assist Japanese guests with bookings for both winter and summer
- Correspondence with Travel/Sales Consultants for assistance and support
- Actioning accommodation and other service/booking requests
- Confirming booking requests with suppliers and consultants
- Efficient and accurate recording of booking details
- Effectively communicating with all teams involved in the reservation process
- Adhering to booking guidelines
- Administrating amendments or cancellations
- Loading of accommodation rates and updates as required
- Create new accommodation and services
- Checking guest and supplier invoices
- Checking bedding configurations transfer requests and arrival/departure details

What Were Looking For In You:
- High School Certificate or equivalent
- Native Japanese speaker (or Business level) with strong English written/reading skills
- Good spoken English also very beneficial
- Experience and/or training in travel/tourism/hotel industry preferred
- Advanced computer skills; particularly Microsoft Office applications and reservations systems
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Understanding concept of exceptional service
