About Organization
Land Line Engineering Group is responsible for the construction operation and maintenance of fixed network voice services.
Additionally it also manages coordination among related business operators.
Job Duties
Operation and maintenance of fixed network related equipment
Escalation response from monitoring team
Responding to inquiries from technical support
Support for planned maintenance
Response to equipment maintenance contracts and outsourcing contracts
Response to requests for consideration from the business team
Coordination between business operators
Construction coordination between business operators
Construction coordination with emergency reporting agencies
Minimum Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in engineering work related to business fixed voice network equipment at a telecommunications carrier or equipment vendor.
Knowledge and experience with IP networks (L2/L3)
Knowledge/experience with SIP/RTP protocols
UNIX/Linux CLI operations
Ability to work late at night and be on-call during holiday and night hours.
Understanding of systems related to voice communication services in Japan.
Preferred Qualifications
Project lead/management experience
Knowledge/experience with mobile IMS
Knowledge/experience with cloud platforms
Knowledge and experience in network security
Languages:
English (Overall - 3 - Advanced) Japanese (Overall - 3 - Advanced)Employment Type
