Job Title: Application Security (AppSec) Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Support the Secure Software Development Life Cyclethrough design reviews code reviews and hands-on security assessments.
- Drive system-wide security improvements with automation processes and secure libraries.

Experience and Qualifications
- 5 years of product security experience.
- Proven leadership in enhancing product or DevOps security.
- A team player fluent in English or Japanese.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Skills in JavaScript/TypeScript Kotlin Scala or Java.
- Expertise in Android/iOS app security.
- Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native apps.
- Fintech security experience and Japanese proficiency.

Work Location
If you do not live in Japan currently relocation to Japan is a must requirement for this position and visa and relocation support will be provided. Of course there are offices but you can live anywhere in Japan you like and work fully remotely if thats your vibe!
