Entertainment Media (CD DVD/BD Video Games PC Software) aims to provide the most amazing customer experience on earth and succeed in business with selling partners through collaboration and the use of Amazons advanced technology.

In this position we will optimize the end-to-end supply chain by improving demand forecasting accuracy streamlining the procurement process promoting the use of new technologies and pursuing operation automation.

It is a position that has received a very high level of attention at Amazon and since it is a position that has a large impact on the entire business person with excellent analytical ability strategy formation project management and execution are required.

Key job responsibilities


This role formulates strategies for improvement through evaluation and verification of vast amounts of past performance data. When it comes to execution this role participates in business negotiations with the management of business partners together with sales representatives agree on improvements including medium- to long-term problems through establishing and maintaining strong partnerships and take the lead in promoting activities. This role will also promote the introduction of new functions and technologies led by our global central team and their use by our own business partners.

A day in the life


Through monitoring from various angles how much inventory has been secured in response to customer demand and whether excess inventory has occurred this role identifies issues and makes improvement plan. Through collaborations with team members and global teams this role needs to design appropriate improvement plans and execute them quickly.

- Bachelors degree or 5 years of professional or military experience
- 5 years of with Excel experience
- Business level written and oral communication skills in both Japanese and English
- 5 years supply chain operations inventory management and/or project management experience
- Experience working with complex data sets
- Experience leading process improvement systems development and project management

- 5 years of product/program management experience
- MBA from a premier business school or similar qualification
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
- Experience with SQL
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
