We are seeking a full-time Ingest Operator with file-based video ingesting experience to work out of our Burbank CA Hollywood Way facility.
Position Overview
Responsible for ensuring compliance assurance of customer assets and metadata into the Deluxe One platform.
Analyze and perform quality control for customer media content including video captions subtitles audio data and images.
Conform and manipulate assets when required as well as augmenting system data with key title logging and other relevant information.
Utilize web-based tool and services to accurately handle asset ingest and updates to allow Deluxes downstream workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform ingest for all types of media assets.
Utilize enterprise system SAN storages S3 Cloud buckets and Networking tools.
Interface with end users from various internal and external groups to ensure asset fulfillment workflows are optimized to the Deluxe One platform.
Responsible for reading and learning evolving documentation and participating in occasional training sessions.
Multitask between the use of JIRA ticketing system and Stubs queue to respond to requests in a timely manner.
Have the ability to make sound judgements when dealing with issues that arise during troubleshooting and escalating when required.
Must be able to prioritize high priority requests to meet next day turnarounds and deadlines.
Work in a global team and provide handoff information where necessary.
Provide feedback and suggestions to management for improved process improvements and system enhancements.
Other duties as identified and assigned.
Qualifications
Education - 1023 or equivalent
Experience - Freshers/0-1year
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience knowledge and skillset:
Hands on file and data experience strongly desired Video Audio Subtitle industry conformance tools (Final Cut Pro Premiere DaVinci Resolve Mac Captions Pro Tools or similar equivalents)
Excellent attention to detail with organizational skills and ability to multitask
Some understanding of content fulfilment digital workflows asset and data management systems/platforms storage systems cloud services and networking protocols
Excellent teamwork written and verbal communication skills.
Must demonstrate positive attitude ability to maintain professionalism in a high stress situation and project self as a team player.
Must be able to follow instructions juggle multiple priorities and solve problems involving several concrete variables in busy production environment
Willingness to work overtime and adjust working hours/shifts or workdays to accommodate client needs including nights and weekends when needed.
