Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team in the booking hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will assist kitchen staff in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment supporting food preparation and ensuring smooth kitchen operations to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area including washing dishes utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Organize and stock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Dispose of kitchen waste according to health and safety guidelines.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of food handling and safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
