Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans test cases and test scripts for various software applications.
- Identify record document and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product functionality usability and performance.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to improving development and testing processes.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team.
- Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and tools.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools and strategies to continuously improve quality assurance practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium JUnit TestNG or similar.
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages like Java Python or JavaScript.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
