Are you an experienced Cloud Architect with a strong interest in AWS and like designing complex and innovative infrastructures
If so here is your chance to utilize your skills on greenfield and international projects with our highly qualified engineering team.
As an AWS Cloud Architect you will be responsible for architecting cloud-centric solutions based on customers needs and leading the cloud engineering team on varied customer projects. At SnapSoft we perform end-to-end delivery from architecture design to implementation where you can be part of constructing the cloud infrastructure of international companies mainly in fintech aviation telco and edtech industries. With your expertise you will help our customers achieve and maintain robust availability resilience and scalability in their cloud-based products while ensuring their infrastructures security and compliance.
Job requirements
What youll be doing:
Architecting complex AWS infrastructures and zero-day compliant landing zones
Understanding customers business problems and providing technology consulting to identify the best-fit solution
Owning the end-to-end solution as a key decision-maker and driving the delivery team
Describing infrastructures using Terraform (Terragrunt) or AWS CloudFormation
Migrating customer workloads from on-prem/GCP/Azure/Heroku environments
Reviewing and remediating customers cloud solutions applying AWS Well-Architected Frameworks principles and best practices
Designing building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in multiple integration and test environments
Staying up-to-date with the AWS innovations and achieving Professional/Specialty level certifications based on personal interest
Contributing to AWS Competency and Service Delivery Program to support SnapSofts AWS Partner journey
You are looking for us if you have:
A bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Technical leadership experience for coordinating projects from a technical side
Client facing skills for driving refinements and planning sessions with the customer
4 years of hands-on experience in designing deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS
In-depth knowledge of standard AWS services such as VPC EC2 S3 RDS Lambda ECS IAM SNS SQS API Gateway EKS CloudFront EFS/EBS SecurityHUB Guard Duty CloudWatch AWS Application Migration Service KMS PCA and similar
3 years of experience in at least one Infrastructure as a Code technology like Terraform (preferred) AWS CloudFormation Ansible AWS CDK or similar
3 years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions GitLab Bitbucket or similar)
2 years of experience in creating and running container-based applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS load balancers firewalls VPN) and related AWS Services (CloudFront API Gateway VPC Route 53 ELB)
Strong understanding of security concepts (IAM PoLP Access Control Endpoint Security Data Encryption)
In-depth knowledge of standard AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda ECS
Excellent problem-solving skills for use-case-specific architecture design and implementation
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
AWS Professional/Specialty Certification is preferred
