As a Programmer (C / Proprietary Engine) at Double Eleven youll collaborate with experienced programmers designers and artists to deliver high-quality game features and systems. You will work in C to implement mechanics integrate assets and develop tools that bring creative concepts to life. Your contributions will include fixing bugs optimising performance and ensuring the stability and polish of our projects helping to shape the player experience from concept to final release.
As a global gaming company weve enabled millions to conquer Minecraft Dungeons battle in Rust Console Edition and create new adventures in Fallout 76.
Recently we collaborated with Rockstar Games to bring Red Dead Redemption to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 as well as partnered with Obsidian Entertainment on Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and 5.

What youll be doing
- Design develop write test and implement systems and game code
- Test and refine game-play features and systems throughout development
- Estimate tasks and deliver high quality code to that schedule
- Perform code reviews with the development team to ensure code quality
- Help develop technical design specifications
- Work with designers artists and publishing as required to create the highest possible quality titles
What were looking for
- Applicants should have relevant experience in the video games industry
- Extensive experience with C
- Experience working on consoles
- Self-motivated with a positive mental attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
- Writes clear debuggable maintainable and performance-targeted code
- Able to break down and structure tasks to meet deadlines efficiently
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Experience in profiling optimisation multi-threading or networking would be considered a bonus
