Job Description:
- Support development of the techniques tools and procedures for all aspects of Optical Engineering for the division.
- Support development of Optical Engineering tools and procedures for Optical Design Analysis Integration and Test.
- Document and control optical tools and procedures.
- Provide Optical Engineering expertise to support manufacturing tasks and issues.
- Assemble integrate and test optical sensors to meet project specifications.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors degreein Optical EngineeringElectrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering Physics Mathematics or related field
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with optical design software (Zemax Code V etc.) and/or
- Familiarity with mathematical analysis codes (Matlab Mathematica MathCad etc.) and/or
- Familiarity with Optical Metrology (Interferometers image quality metrics alignment and test techniques Ansys etc.).
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California Massachusetts New Jersey Washington and the Greater D.C Denver or NYC areas is $25.00 - $47.50.The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $22.00 - $40.50. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire schedule type and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
