Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review customs documentation for imports.
- Process CAD entries ensuring compliance with company policies and Canada Customs regulations.
- Correct Canada Customs rejected entries.
- Liaise with importer and CBSA to arrange and facilitate required documentation during customs examinations.
- Complete and close files in a timely and accurate manner in line with company and customs policies.
Requirements:
- Support the team by taking on additional duties as required.
- 3-5 years experience in Customs Brokerage
- Must have valid and current CCS
- Understands and can utilize the Customs tariff
- Experience with Cargowise (CW1) preferred but not mandatory
- Must know the basics of EXCEL Word Powerpoint etc.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Multitasking and organizational skills
- Team player and works well on their own
- Hybrid work model. 2 days in office 3 days at home
Company Benefits:
Pay Range: $50000-$55000 CAD
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
