Job Description

Pay Grade/Pay Range:Minimum: $44200 - Midpoint: $55300 (Salaried E6)

Department/Organization:200019 - Capstone Center for Student Success

Normal Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings and weekends required.

Job Summary:The First Year Student Retention Program Coordinator implements and coordinates a variety of student-oriented programs designed to support persistence and retention of first-year students. Assists Program Manager with large-scale programs and targeted retention initiatives including communication efforts for case management of student participants.

Additional Department Summary:Completes required training and promoting a safe hospitable and respectful workplace.

Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher.

Skills and Knowledge:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with students faculty and staff in a collaborative manner. Strong relationship building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree in Higher Education or related field. Experience in communication marketing and coordinating programs for first-year students.
