Job Description

About the Role
In this position youre responsible for developing and securing the delivery of chemical management and product compliance strategies. You interpret international laws and regulations translate them into actionable internal policies and support teams across the organization in applying these standards. You conduct audits develop training materials and ensure that regulatory information is shared effectively to enable legal compliance and continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading global chemical management activities and supporting local implementation.
  • Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Supporting product lines and projects with regulatory expertise.
  • Participating in EHS forums and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Escalating challenges and gaps in compliance and chemical safety.

The location for this position is Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work solution. International travel is part of the job and you report within a matrix organization.

Your Profile
Were looking for someone with several years experience in global chemical regulations and compliance. Youre able to interpret complex regulations and translate them into internal procedures training materials and compliance strategies. Your knowledge is backed by a university degree in Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering

Your technical expertise includes:

  • In-depth knowledge of international chemical regulations such as REACH RoHS TSCA PFAS Proposition 65 and more.
  • Practical experience with IUCLID REACH-IT ECHA-Cloud and tools for Poison Center and SCIP notifications.
  • Familiarity with CE and FCC certification processes and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of chemical nomenclature hazardous reactions and safe chemical storage and handling.
  • Experience with PLM and ERP systems and knowledge of ATEX/Ex classifications dust explosions and transport of dangerous goods.
