Abbott Diabetes Care has opened a new site in Kilkenny that is at the forefront of Diabetes care with the latest technology to manufacture FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre systems.
Main purpose of the role:
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the monthly sales and operations planning process Inventory Management process and on-going continuous improvement activities with Supply chain management that require data capturing analysis and presentation.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for work order management.
Contributing to Exception Reports that pertain to the Supply Chain Department.
iDocs monitoring and processing them as required also analyse root cause and solve.
Supports SAP as the primary management system for inventory reporting Supply management.
Contributing to the continued improvement of the plants Environmental Health and Safety Performance.
Work closely with planners Review and follow-up on Order closer in time ensuring inventory levels are accurate and discrepancies are identified between both SAP and MES/POMS system.
Perform check on Production confirmations Ensure they are completed in time to report to Finance.
Review SAP Master data regularly and highlighted any discrepancies.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Level 7 NFQ qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
SAP knowledge is a requirement.
ERP system experience is an advantage.
