Site Engineer - Cork

We are a well-established residential contractor delivering high-quality housing developments. Due to continued growth we are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team on current and upcoming residential projects.

Role Summary:

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing engineering operations on-site with a focus on setting out surveying and managing groundworks crews. Experience with Uisce ireann standards and procedures is essential along with a proven track record in the residential construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate setting out and surveying for house plots drainage foundations and roadways.

Oversee groundworks activities ensuring work is carried out according to drawings specifications and timelines.

Liaise with Uisce ireann on water and wastewater installations ensuring compliance with regulations.

Supervise subcontractors and direct labour during civils and infrastructure works.

Coordinate with design teams site management and local authorities.

Maintain records daily diaries QA documentation and as-built drawings.

Ensure that health safety environmental and quality standards are upheld on-site.

Assist with planning and resource scheduling to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.

Minimum 5 years experience in a Site Engineer role on residential housing developments.

Strong experience in setting out using GPS total stations and levels.

In-depth knowledge of Uisce ireann procedures and standards.

Experience managing or coordinating groundworks and utility crews.

Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Full driving licence.
