Job Description

Secondary Teachers

St Margarets Anglican Girls School a school the Society of the Sacred Advent is one of Queenslands leading independent schools fostering in students confidence compassion academic excellence and a life long love of learning. Applications are invited for Teachers in the following subject areas to commence in January 2026:

  • Humanities
  • Senior Visual Art
  • French (across both primary and secondary)

Suitable candidates will have the ability to teach across a range of year levels including Year 11 and 12.

About You

You may be an experienced teacher or an early career teacher either way you will be an exceptional educator who brings:

  • Qualifications to teach in any of the following subjects; Humanities Senior Visual Art and French.
  • An excellent knowledge of your subject area current education trends and contemporary teaching pedagogy.
  • A dynamic approach to your teaching ensuring a high level of differentiation and engagement in your classes.
  • A proven ability to work positively and collaboratively with other teachers and build positive working relationships.
  • A willingness to fully engage in the school community and get involved in extra-curricular activities offered.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students staff and parents.
