Job Description
- BS/MS/PhD in Materials Science Chemical Engineering Metallurgical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in relevant industry
- High attention to detail fastidious management of large quantities of details solution-driven mindset to manage projects to successful completion
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive multiple projects setting priorities and deliver results
- Effective written and verbal communication skills providing technical expertise and updates on project milestones
- Strong materials fundamentals in extractive metallurgy and process-structure-properties-performance relationships
- Knowledge of lifecycle assessment (LCA) methods industrial ecology and carbon foot-printing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to use statistical tools and techniques
- Experience in metal production technology or process development (e.g. beneficiation smelting refining recycling)
- Experience conducting or interpreting lifecycle assessments for carbon foot-printing purposes
