As a Quantum Hardware Development Lead you will take ownership of the end-to-end technical development of new QPU products from setting the technical requirements to delivering the finalised product. You will lead the development roadmap guide the engineering work and make technical decisions that shape our next-generation processors. You will work closely with world-class engineers and experts across design fabrication and measurement and be the central coordination point that keeps everyone moving toward the common goal.

What Youll Be Doing

• Lead the development of next-generation quantum hardware products coordinating multidisciplinary teams (including design fabrication and test engineers) and external partners to deliver cutting-edge processors as fast as possible.
  

• Build and scale QuantWares systems engineering and project management capabilities establishing the robust structures processes and tools needed to drive increasingly complex development programs and ensure efficient timely delivery.
  

Your Profile

You dont need to tick every box but if most of these apply wed love to hear from you:

• 4 years of experience leading semiconductor or superconductor chip R&D across the full development cycle from design to fabrication to quality control.
  

• A strong technical foundation a MSc PhD or equivalent background in (quantum) physics microwave engineering RF engineering or electrical engineering is a strong plus.
  

• Proven track record of structuring and delivering complex hardware development projects from concept to production.
  

• A systems-level mindset: you excel at breaking down complexity managing dependencies and aligning teams around clear goals.
  

• Strong sense of ownership with a structured pragmatic outcome-focused and hands-on approach.
  

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
