About the role:
As a Junior Software Engineer (Front End ReactJS) you will be an integral part of this transformation solving challenging business problems and building highly scalable performant and user-friendly web applications.
- Reporting into the Lead Engineer you will be required to develop modern and responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and associated technologies assist the engineering team in problem resolution by hands-on participation and effectively communicate status issues and risks in a precise and timely manner.
- You will write clean reusable and efficient code based on product requirements create automated tests contribute to system testing and follow an agile mode of development.
- You will collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest frontend tools and technologies.
- Develop scalable responsive and accessible UI components integrate them with REST APIs create automated UI tests contribute to system testing and work within an agile delivery framework.
We are looking for someone who can design document and implement new frontend systems as well as enhancements and modifications to existing applications with code that complies with design specifications accessibility standards and ReactJS best practices.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in frontend development using ReactJS (v16) JavaScript (ES6) HTML5 and CSS3 with a bachelors degree in computer science Computer Engineering or related technical field.
- Strong experience in state management (Redux or Context API) and component-driven development.
- API-driven development experience working with remote data via REST and JSON and delivering high-value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using tools such as JIRA.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles accessibility (WCAG) responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with frontend performance optimization code-splitting lazy loading and caching strategies.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest React Testing Library or Cypress.
- Experience with GitHub Docker (for frontend builds) AWS S3/CloudFront and CI/CD pipelines.
