Are you a customer-oriented Senior Java Developer Would you like to contribute to meeting the digital needs of the public sector Then you might be our new colleague.
At KMD we continuously adapt to the changing needs of our customers and society seizing the opportunities they present. We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our consultancy teamsomeone eager to shape how we develop and deliver the solutions our clients rely on.
About the role
As a Senior Java Developer you will be part of our consultancy team within KMD Application Services. Our mission is to be the preferred partner for our clients when it comes to application maintenance development and modernization. Our assignments range from small advisory engagements and maintenance work to pilot modernization and full-scale development projects. The consultancy team is involved across the entire value chainfrom client dialogue sales and consulting to proposal development and delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
Application maintenance and further development
Cloud-native application modernization and development
Setting up and automating CI/CD tools
Advising clients on the selection of methods and tools with a focus on developer experience
Estimating and documentation
About you
You work in a structured and dedicated manner taking strong ownership of your tasks. You are a strong communicator capable of conveying complex messages and skilled at building solid relationships to achieve great results.
Its a big plus if you can tick off several of the following:
Solid experience with Java preferably in a cloud-native architecture and tool stack
Knowledge of event-driven architecture including Kafka and NoSQL databases
Experience in API design management and development including security aspects
Interest in AI and large language models (LLMs)
A professional background in computer science/software development or equivalent
A minimum of five years of relevant software development experience
Fluency in Danish and English at a professional level
