THE ROLE:
You will be working as part of the global Custom Software Engineeringteam to design and maintain the graphics device driver and other software componentsdesign custom software solutions & POC for AMDs customers by leveraging advanced technologies like artificial intelligence across a wide variety of different use cases. You will work with different function teamsacross the world and provide AMDs solution to customers.
THE PERSON:
You should have a strong technical background both in programming (with C) broader knowledge of machine learning and system-level understanding. And have the enthusiasm todesign artificial intelligence software to help our customers overcome challenges with deployments of AI models on next-generation AMD platform and to leverage that experience to make AMDs products even better.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as part of the global Custom Software Engineeringteam to designthe solution POC custom drivers for AMDs customers.
- Specify design and implement new ASIC andcustom AIsoftware features.
- Coordinate closely with peers in both Asia and North America to ensure timely and effective communication of all assigned work activities.
- Represent AMD software occasionally to be customer-facing for technicaldesign investigation.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch Tensorflow Keras
- 6 years working experience in machine learning or statistics (or equivalent research experience)
- Strong software development experience in languages such as Python Java C ScalaC#
- Experience in Low-level programming of hardware devices is preferred
- Architecture in both kernel & user modes is a plus
- In-depth understanding of PC&Operating System architecture
- Good softwaredesign capabilityand hands-on knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good team works
- Self-motivated strong initiative can work under moderate to minimal supervision
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field AND8 years experience in technology solutions practice development architecture consulting and/or technology is a plus.
