DescriptionIn This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform daily incoming sampling inspections according to specifications and standards.
- Ensure proper handling and part protection before transferring to store or further processes (e.g. Hydrotest RT PT MT).
- Support day-to-day activities such as WIP scanning hold part segregation and defect confirmation with engineers.
- Conduct basic rework activities for minor defects.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and comply with Emersons safety and housekeeping practices.
- Utilize measuring and testing equipment effectively.
- Participate in cost-saving initiatives SGIA projects and provide sorting/investigation support during quality issues.

For This Role You Will Need:
- A Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and quality standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Hands-on experience with quality control in a valve or process equipment manufacturing setting.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with internal calibration systems and customer-specific requirements.
