Job Description

Responsible for increasing the portfolio ofprofitable and productive clients for Carlson Wagonlit Travel in order to achieve the company goals.
Main responsibilities & duties
  • Generate new business opportunities all over the country at any industry being the first point of contact for prospectsusing the tools of prestige and technical capabilities of the company to make it as efficient as possible
  • Maintain the CWT presence over the market and with potential clients through a professional and ethical behavior
  • Refineprofessional relationships with key players of the industry as clients or providers
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports weekly work plans monthly and annual territory analysesby usingthe CWT sales tools
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing products new products delivery schedules merchandising techniques etc...
  • Recommend changes in products service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Create and adjust content of sales material
  • Work inside sales cold calling for potential clients and outside sales which involves visiting potential clients
  • Be an ambassador of CWT inside and outside the company by working daily under the sharing of CWT Values
  • Analyze and determine the service and financial scheme to be applied with each prospect according to its characteristics and needs
  • Coordinate the new accounts implementation process with other areas such as Program Manageroperations Implementations and the client in order to ensure that everything offered in the sale process is met.
  • Active participation in the most important events of the industries in order to create strategic relationships with key contacts at any level as travel buyers CFOsCEOsetc...
  • Generate strategic cross selling with the main suppliers of the industry for increasing the successfull business opportunities.
  • Strategic leadership of RFP and RFI processes
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Profile
  • Age: From 26 to 45 years
  • Gender: Indistinct
  • Studies: Bachelor degree
  • Experience: At least5 years at Travel Industry Sales or Customer care.
Competencies
  • Microsoft Office
  • Basic financial knowledge
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) at proficient/high intermediate level
  • Travel technology management (GDS OBTs CRM Business intelligence)
