Our Team
The Financial Crime Operations team are responsible for AML activity across all our this role youll support the delivery of accountabilities and core activities of the Financial Crime Managers and ultimately the Head of Financial Crime Operations. Youll get to lead and coach a team of Financial Crime Managers covering a range of AML systems in Financial Crime Operations - making sure we keep our Customers and our Bank safe through excellent stakeholder management and colleague support.

The core role of Leader of Leaders is to deliver the very best performance through their people by keeping our Purpose Strategic Drivers and Blueprint at the heart of all they do whilst developing their team with stretching goals to build capability and ambition.

What youll be doing
  • Managing a team of Financial Crime Managers focussing on PEP sanction and adverse media screening.
  • Providing expert advice to colleagues on financial crime and operational areas.
  • Capacity planning to ensure adequately resourced teams
  • Delivering business change/business readiness
  • Ensuring all internal and external service levels are achieved
  • Ensuring all new or amended key stroke and high-level processes are documented amended and communicated in accordance with the Risk and Operations framework
  • Responsible for quality outcomes within your team
  • Complying fully with legal regulatory and TCF requirements and all codes of practice and conduct within the business
We need you to have
  • Extensive Financial Crime Operations experience is essential with a focus on PEPs sanctions and adverse media.
  • Experience in oversight and challenge of data/insights
  • Excellent written communication and reporting skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven people leader experience with the ability to motivate a team
  • Experience of delivering operational change
Its a bonus if you have but not essential
  • An ICA Advanced AML certificate or ICA AML Diploma (or willing to work towards)
  • Resource and cap planning experience
  • Knowledge of Financial Crime legislation regulation and industry guidance
