Job Description

Senior Director EMEA Growth Platforms & Commercialisation

UK - Haddenham

Reporting to the VP EMEA Marketing and an active member of the Marketing and Consumer Leadership Teams this role is responsible for the direction development and execution of strategic plans to maximise profitable growth for the region. This role owns the overall Innovation Long Term Plan (LTP) and annual budget Regional Strategic Long-term Planning Process regionally scoped strategic projects across LTP Growth Platforms the strategic management of regional consumer resources and oversees the execution of growth and cost out projects through the commercialisation team. The role is also a key people leader accountable for the development engagement & management of 20 team members in the market and contributing to the overall succession planning for EMEA Marketing.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the regional consumer Innovation pipeline to sufficiency supporting brand equity choices and deliver annual innovation budget target through owned projects and shaping local-market led projects.
Develop comprehensive Brand Category and Business growth platforms to deliver sales share and profitability ambitions in the LTP. Present to regional and global leadership; develop and lead transformational business change projects as required.
Lead team to identify the regional consumer targets for global brands. Use insights to develop breakthrough ideas that deliver the business objectives and delight our target consumer.
Generate projects that enable technical advantage and colloborate with global peer set to create dig sites for technical differentiation.
Prioritize learning plans to ensure initiatives connect to consumer needs.
Oversee the development testing and optimisation of consumer and shopper-based concepts. Size business opportunities to advance the highest potential pipeline.
Oversee and shape governance over new product business cases financial forecasting supply chain pricing P&L structure and recommended in-market execution.
Lead the PMR and Stage Gate (via Commercialisation) processes to manage regional resources and make recommendations at a project and pipeline level to business segment leadership for decisions.
Oversee the execution of growth and cost out projects through the commercialisation team
Provide direction to key cross-functional partners such as research sales product development manufacturing quality finance legal & external resources.
Influence trajectory of the Department; develop and engage the team including coaching & succession planning.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

Strong learning agility supported by Degree qualification ideally Marketing or a related discipline
Strong Industry experience with relevant skills & results delivery in consumer packaged goods
People Leadership with track record of developing building and engaging effective teams.
Strong leadership in strategic thinking communication and influencing in matrixed organizations.
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills supported through exposure to key areas including Sales Finance and Supply Chain as well as external agency management
Strong analytical and change leadership experience with ability to manage multiple projects.
Expert level In functional Marketing skills Strategy New product development & P&L mgmt.
Demonstrated ability to translate consumer insight to sellable product concepts
