Shangri-La Suzhou
Shangri-La Suzhou is conveniently located in the core business district of Suzhou High-tech Zone (Shishan Business Circle). The guest room floor is housed on the 28th to 51st floors and is therefore known as the Up in the Air hotel. The hotel has 390 luxury rooms and suites 20 service apartments with private kitchens. Hotel has variety cuisine dinning area - Chinese Restaurant Shang Palace Western Restaurant Caf Soo Japanese cuisine restaurant Nishimura and hotel lobby lounge. The multi-function room and the large banquet ball room as well as the well-equipped fitness center are all been offered to our customers.
We are looking for a Service Leader--Chinese Restaurant
As a Service Leader--Chinese Restaurant we rely on you to
- Interact and engage with restaurant guests and maintains high quality service standards
- Motivate team members and maintain a high level of team spirit (or team cohesiveness)
- Handle guest complaints effectively and professionally
- Consistently looking to increase satisfaction levels from a Colleague Guest and Owner perspective
- Support the daily operation in collaboration with the Service Manager assist with monthly forecasting weekly schedule restaurant profitability evaluation etc.
- Take responsibility in partnership with the Service Manager for the operations look and feel including but not limited to the overall decor and atmosphere of the restaurant
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for Food & Beverage
- Loves interacting with guests
- Believes in teamwork
- Communicates with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
- Preferably has experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel background
- A self-starter and a team player
- Enjoys being challenged
