Job Description
Job Summary:
Provides 30-60 minute massages to clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience in a spa environment. Collaborating with clients in order to create a treatment plan. Documenting and maintaining treatment records. Familiarizing self with all services provided in the spa for potential referrals.
Education and Training:
Graduate of an Accredited Massage School Program.
Licensures/ Certifications:
Current and valid Washington State Massage Therapist License.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as a professional massage therapist
- Experience working in a spa or therapy center environment preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient knowledge of multiple modalities and technical skills of massage therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with computers and demonstrated sales and customer service.
- Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods.
