Bachelors Degree from an accredited university preferred; Associates Degree required.
US Army Retired Officer grades (03 thru 06) or NCO (grades E-6 thru E-9 or Warrant Officer W-1 thru W-5) Must be JROTC Certified - (Ref. USACC Reg 145-2 12 August 2022).
Five years or more in Government Budgeting and Procurement Army Supply Procedures Warehouse Management Equipment Inventory Control and Maintain/ Issuance of Uniform Clothing Supplies and Military Equipment. (Ref. USACC Reg 145-2 12 August 2022).
Certified as a JROTC Instructor by the US Army Cadet Command. Advanced Administrative training Government Purchase Card (GPC) - Card Holder (Ref. USACC Reg 145-2 12 August 2022).
Strong organizational skills.
Proficient with all JROTC/military software.
Ability to build and establish relationships with internal team members and external partners.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Perform duties and responsibilities as the MPS Page 62 PP 5 - 7 IAW (Ref. USACC Reg 145-2 12 August 2022) but not limited to.
Serves as the principal logistics and government budget representative for the JROTC Department/Campuses.
Manage annual Government Funding Budget in accordance with Army Regulations (Ref. USACC Reg 145-2 12 August 2022).
Responsible for safeguarding the Government Procurement Card (GPC) and funding for all Dallas ISD JROTC programs performing monthly certification of the GPC account as the GPC Card Holder.
Manage funds for all purchases made at GSA Store and Self-Service Store at Military Installations.
Receive store safeguard issue and account for all government property assigned.
Prepare and submit operating budgets for all JROTC clothing uniforms and equipment.
Prepare for annual audit and Annual JROTC Program for Accreditation (JPA).
Prepare annual reports for air rifle pellets usage forecast manage requirements for laundry and dry cleaning-contracts and account for all sensitive items including air rifles via monthly inventories.
Manage inventory report of purchases review inventory records and communicate with vendors regarding inquiries and maintain Stock Record Control files.
Maintain and use assigned vehicle properly for pickup and delivery of JROTC supplies and equipment.
Attends all meetings and makes frequent visits to district campuses military installations and other designated locations as required for equipment turn-in at DRMO.
