The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about helping students navigate their educational journey In this roleyouwill be the primary point of contact for students faculty staff and parentsproviding expert guidance and support in all areas of Student Financial Services.
As part of our teamyouwill play a key role in supporting our Pell Grant Program along with several other federal aid programs.Yourresponsibilities will include financial aid processing packaging testing and delivering exceptional client service.
Beyond program supportyouwill help shape our communications by developing and editing content that informs and empowers our community. Everythingyoudo will contribute to advancing the vision mission values and goals of both our office and the university.

Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3750.85 - $5397.56 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelors degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
Experience in customer service.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Developed skills in written and verbal communication including experience with large group presentations.
Ability to work flexible schedules including occasional weekends/evenings.
Demonstrated experience interpreting rules and regulations
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree.
Experience with PeopleSoft.
Experience with student services in a higher education setting such as Financial Aid Scholarships Admissions Student Accounts Academic Advising Registrar Graduate School Athletics and/or Housing and Dining.
