As aSenior Mendix Developer you make a significant contribution to Jumbo by developing user-friendly applications for our store employees. With approximately 50000 users you truly make an impact for our store colleagues!

Lets get to work! This is what youll do:
You play a crucial role in developing a complete Mendix landscape of functionalities to support our store colleagues on top of our new SAP S4 system. The scale and complexity of the store processes provide a challenging role as a Mendix developer where you build new functionalities and ensure they remain robust and easy to build it you run it and you own it!And you do all this together with the rest of the team.

Your workday as a Mendix developer at Jumbo:

9:00 9:15Stand-up meeting to coordinate with the rest of the team
10:00 11:00Refinement session with the Product Owner and the rest of the team to determine what will be built
11:00 11:30Coordination with a fellow developer on how to build the new functionality
13:00 16:30Focused time for development

Together we are Jumbo: This is where youll work
You will join a Store Employee Experience team where we build various applications with Mendix that will be used by 50000 employees in our 700 stores. You will be part of a team with testers UX/UI designers and a business analyst who helps uncover requirements and dependencies. Our Product Owner together with the team determines what the solutions will look like. You will always work with another Mendix developer in the team but you will also have contact with Mendix developers from other teams.

You will occasionally visit a store to support with applications or gather feedback and coordinate with the domain architect for larger design choices in the Jumbo IT landscape.

Typically you
At Jumbo we are looking for go-getters people with good ideas and the courage to work together on them. • At least 5 years of experience with low-code application development (preferably with Mendix)
• A business mindset problem-solving ability and strong analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Een bruto maandsalaris tussen de 4.200 en 5.500 (op basis van 40 uur per week).

• Reiskostenvergoeding van 021 per kilometer (tot maximaal 35 kilometer enkele reis). We werken graag samen op kantoor maar gedeeltelijk thuiswerken is ook mogelijk.
