This newly created role is designed to support and drive performance across our complex Auckland supply chain network. As a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist you will build strong relationships with divisional leaders and operational teams to drive alignment and collaboration across the supply chain. By using data-driven insights youll identify opportunities plan proactively and implement practical solutions to optimise production fleet and workforce utilisation. Your success will rely on initiative strategic thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement.
In addition to the above you will:
Liaise with senior divisional managers and other key stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities to optimise the end-to-end supply chain
Analyse both short and long-term asphalt programmes data and production capacity to identify efficiencies and make recommendations for improvement
Proactively group and plan jobs to maximise resource utilisationensuring asphalt plant production fleet deployment and workforce utilisation are optimised
Improve forecasting processes for raw aggregate and other materials to reduce waste costs and scheduling conflicts

Were looking for someone with:
Experience with supply chain management systems business intelligence tools and advanced Excel or related analytics platforms
Comprehensive experience in data analytics and practical experience in interpreting and leveraging operational data for informed decision-making
Demonstrated understanding of multi-faceted operations in the infrastructure construction industry (asphalt fleet management paving traffic management workshops etc)
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering Supply Chain Logistics Business or a related field are advantageous
