About the Role
As the Executive Assistant People & Culture you will play a key role in supporting the People & Culture Leadership Team and contributing to the delivery of strategic initiatives across the University. Reporting to the Executive Officer & Governance Coordinator the role manages key operational tasks including diary and calendar coordination meeting and event logistics travel arrangements financial processing and internal communications. It also supports the planning and delivery of key People & Culture events such as town halls annual awards and team-wide engagements.
As a central point of contact for the People Leadership Team the role plays an important part in managing information flow fielding requests and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Vice-President People & Cultures office. It also provides backup support for the Executive Officer & Governance Coordinator during periods of leave or high demand.
This is a dynamic and collaborative role that helps ensure the People & Culture leadership team can operate efficiently and remain focused on strategic priorities.
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
Proven experience in an executive or senior administrative support role ideally within a complex organisation.
Outstanding organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proactive and adaptable with a problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach to work.
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience coordinating events and managing a diverse range of administrative tasks.
Familiarity with finance systems and processing (e.g. purchase orders invoice tracking) is desirable.
