Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Facilitating and coordinating mental health services in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards; provides mental health education for Head Start children families and staff; collaborates with community agency and early intervention partners on the implementation monitoring and assessing of mental health activities; performs related work as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
An Advance degree in Social or Behavioral Science Psychology or closely related field. Mental Health Consultant must be a licensed or certified health professional. (Social or behavioral science degree psychology or closely related field)
A Mental Health Consultant must have at least two (2) years of experience (Social work therapist school psychologist)
Criminal background clearances and a physical examination and TB test are required as condition of initial employment and continued employment.
