Our client is seeking an experienced AS/400 Developer with a solid background in AS/400/IBM iSeries systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in programming database management and system administration and a passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining AS/400 applications using RPG CL SQL and other relevant languages.
- Performing system administration tasks including monitoring backup and recovery.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AS/400 applications and systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and optimize system performance.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in AS/400 development and programming.
- Proficiency in RPG CL SQL and DB2 database design.
- Strong problem-solving communication and teamwork skills with proficiency in English.
