Job Description
Clarity is currently recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for a well-established nursing home based in Co. Roscommon.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to step into or progress within a leadership role in the Care of the Older Person sector.
The ideal candidate must be/have:
- Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience ideally in care of the elderly services
- Minimum of 2 years experience working at CNM level or similar leadership role
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and support care staff
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and healthcare regulations
- Proven track record of achieving compliance in a similar setting
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to continuous learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage clinical governance and promote best practice in patient care
- Strong IT and documentation skills
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents
- Supporting the Person in Charge in all aspects of clinical and operational management
- Ensuring full compliance with HIQA and all relevant regulations
- Monitoring care plans and ensuring resident safety dignity and well-being
- Conducting regular audits risk assessments and quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting training development and supervision of nursing and care staff
- Promoting a positive resident-centred culture within the home
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
