About the Role
Were seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating roster with overtime available.
- 12-hour shifts Day - 6am 6pm and Night - 6pm 6am.
- Week 1 4 x Night shifts Week 2 3 x Day shifts 3 x Night shifts Week 3 4 x Day shifts Week 4 no shifts
- Weekends and Public Holidays as part of roster paid at penalty rates.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager youll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to meet production service and quality standards for the manufacture of beverage cans.
- Troubleshooting and dealing with production issues alongside maintenance team.
- Assist in machine setup dismantling and job changeovers tasks for a production run.
- Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers.
- Maintain safe work and operating practices and a high level of housekeeping at all times.
What youll bring to the team
- Previous operation experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proven ability to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.
- The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in quality control.
- Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn.
- Forklift licence is a bonus.
