The Sports Content Writer is responsible for producing high-quality engaging and accurate sports content in English. This role involves writing articles and developing other content forms to keep audiences informed and entertained about sports news events and trends.
About the role
Write articles and news updates on various sports including major leagues tournaments and individual events.
Conduct thorough research on sports topics including player statistics game results and industry trends.
Stay updated with current sports news and developments to ensure content is timely and relevant.
Ensure that all content aligns with the brands voice style and objectives.

Need to have
Education: Bachelors degree in Journalism Communications or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a sports writer or content creator with a strong portfolio of published work.

Excellent English communication skills (Native/Advance English level)
Skills
Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills.
In-depth knowledge of various sports including rules terminology and key players.
Strong research abilities and attention to detail.
Familiarity with SEO principles.
