Job Description
Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Service Engineer required to join a leading engineering service provider covering Springfield MO and Kansas City KS/MO.
The Successful Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Service Engineer will carry out mechanical and electrical service maintenance repair testing and commissioning of a variety of equipment including compressed air systems blowers vacuum pumps refrigeration systems and other industrial machinery.
Were open to candidates from any mechanical service background whether youve worked in HVAC refrigeration automotive heavy equipment manufacturing machinery pumps hydraulics or similar. Full product training on compressors and related equipment will be provided.

Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Service Engineer Role
- Carry out electrical and mechanical repair service and maintenance of industrial equipment including compressed air systems refrigeration units vacuum pumps blowers and other mechanical machinery.
- Perform planned and preventative maintenance commissioning diagnostics and fault finding on various systems.
- Install test validate and repair a range of equipment from air compressors and dryers to pumps filtration systems and blowers.
- Work closely with customers to identify system improvements upgrades and aftercare solutions.
- Bring your existing mechanical or electrical service skills and receive full manufacturer training to upskill into compressed air and associated equipment.
- Liaise with internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Based in Springfield or Kansas City covering the local region.
Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Service Engineer Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on industrial commercial or technical equipment.
- Background as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Installation Engineer or similar.
- Experience in any of the following is a plus: HVAC refrigeration compressed air vacuum systems blowers pumps hydraulics rotating equipment automotive or heavy machinery.
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills on mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Willingness to be trained on compressed air systems and associated products.
- Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with customers.
- HVAC and EPA certification beneficial but not essential.
- Based in Springfield or Kansas City covering the local area.
