UCTis looking for a talented Quality Inspector IIto join us inPhoenix AZ!

Job Summary:

  • The Quality Inspector II blends process auditing QMS project support and quality sustaining responsibilities to make sure that products meet standards of quality and safety. Quality Inspectors I and II may be assigned to a specific process area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Audit
    • Assess compliance with procedures and standards through process audits prepare formal audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
    • Assess the effectiveness of final visual inspection through part and finished goods audits.
    • Participate as a team member to develop strategies to improve product quality.
  • QMS Project Support
    • Support plant-wide calibration program including preparing gauges and instruments for calibration assessing calibration results for OOT conditions and managing calibration records.
    • Support ambient monitoring of cleanrooms.
  • Quality Sustaining Activities
    • Complete action items associated with audit findings as assigned.
    • Validate actions taken to address audit findings.
    • Enter and monitor data from Certificates of Analysis for purchased chemicals.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and apply production instructions and standards.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and database software.
  • Basic math abilities.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent.
  • High School Diploma/equivalent AA degree preferred.

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

  • 4 years working in a production environment. Experience working in a cleanroom preferred.

  • Ability to climb stoop kneel crouch reach walk push pull and grasp.
  • Ability to stand for sustained periods.
  • Ability to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Ability to move arms hands and fingers.
  • Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.

Environmental Exposure:

  • Required to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Subject to hazards including electrical current moving mechanical parts exposure to chemicals and debris.
  • Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.
